It covers the surgical procedures applied to the genital area, to the inner and outer labia, vagina and the area around the clitoris, provided that you are 18 years old and older.

Many women may have problems with their genital areas inherently or after giving birth or due to natural aging. These problems can adversely affect the sexual lives of women and their partners. However, in this sensitive subject that seems like a taboo, big differences are created with very small surgical interventions. The operation can be performed for unsymmetrical and sagging skin in vaginal labia, or for the deformities around the clitoris, or for tightening the vaginal opening.

There are 2 types of genital aesthetic methods, surgical and non-surgical;

Non-Surgical Methods

For wrinkly appearance, discoloration, darkening skin, sagging and dull-looking skin, or large opening of the vagina, non-surgical methods can be applied such as; mesotherapy, fillers, peeling, laser treatment.

Surgical Methods

In any of the surgical methods, it is recommended not to apply when having menstrual bleeding in order not to risk getting infections.

Vaginoplasty

Also known as genital opening tightening surgery, performed to make the opening smaller by removing the excess skin and stitching the loose muscles back together. It is performed under general anesthesia and takes about an hour. Surgical tampon is inserted into the vagina and can be removed after 1 day. The sutures are also removed after a week if dissolvable sutures are not used. It is a painless operation, and the patient can go back to daily life immediately. Although it is advisable to not have sexual intercourse for a month. Since the muscles are tightened in the vagina, it is not recommended for women who want to have children. Normal birth will not be possible after vaginoplasty operation. Caesarean (C-section) will be the only choice.

Labioplasty

Includes the inner and outer labia of vagina. Usually done for the inner labia. Over time, the inner lips of the vagina can get saggy and lose the fatty supple appearance. It can cause pain and discomfort during sexual intercourse. Normal wideness of the inner labia is around 1.5 cm, but it can get up to 4 cm over time, especially if the women gave birth before. Discoloration can also happen on the inner lips. Reduction surgery is done to create a symmetrical shape for the inner labia, while keeping the sensitive neurons still active in order not to damage a healthy sexual life.

Fat Injections

After losing weight, or by natural aging, outer appearance of the vagina can change, and may appear saggy and dull. Fatty tissues from another part of the body can be purified and injected into the outer pubic area and the outer lips to create a more youthful and supple appearance.

Hymen Repair

The aim is to stitch the hymen back together and create the primary bleeding again during the intercourse.

Repair of the hymen is dependent on the time when it got broken, and the healing speed of the patient.

FAQ

Many women have vaginoplasty for their sexual life and sexual performance after childbearing period. A marked improvement in quality of sexual life is observed after vaginoplasty.

After vaginal (normal) birth, there is an enlargement in the vagina especially in difficult births and births that require intervention due to multiple pregnancy and large babies. Loosening and tearing occurs in the muscles that support the vagina (pelvic floor muscles) and tissues, which is not reversible without intervention. Loss of sensation during intercourse, presence of undesired noise (queefing) from the vagina during or after sex may occur. These complaints can be completely eliminated with appropriate surgical methods.

In vaginoplasty, the vagina muscles are tightened and excess mucosa skin from the vagina is removed. As a result, a tightening in the vagina occurs which revives sensation during sexual intercourse.
